In Denia erledigten wir noch die letzten Arbeiten für die bevorstehende Atlantiküberquerung wie Montage eines Hydrogenerators, austauschen der Bordbatterien nach 12 Jahren, Installation Starlink, Montage eines zusätzlichen Autopiloten und Ersatz der Fock durch Bank-Sails.
Als Unterstützung bis in die Karibik kahm dann noch Ramon in Denia an Bord und leider musste später Ines kurzfristig in die CH reisen. Das Ziel war Gibraltar, aber leider hatten wir immer starken Westwind und es war nicht einfach die Küste Westwärts zu segeln.
Somit musste unser Motor gute Dienste leisten, aber leider gab dann die Wasserpumpe in Marbella den Geist auf.
Da wir eh durch den W-Wind in Marbella blockiert waren nutzten wir die Zeit und bestellten umgehend eine neue in Holland.
Nach nur 4 Tagen hatten wir den Ersatz dank DHL Express erhalten und der lokale Mechaniker baute diese ein.
Endlich stellte der Westwind für ein par Tage ab und wir nutzten die windlose Zeit um Richtung Gibraltar zu kommen.
Die nächsten Stationen waren Torrevieja, Cartagena, Carrucha, P. de Motril Estepona und Barbate.
Unterwegs sammelten wir noch Sand und füllten diesen in Säcke ab, kauften Kracher und bereiteten eine Metallstange als Abwehr für die Orcas vor.
Wir blieben nahe an der Küste bei Spanien und zum Glück sahen wir nie Schwanzflossen der Orcas.
In Barbate trafen wir dann noch Claudia und Thomas (Chiffon) sowie den Franzosen Patrice (SY Maumo).
Am 21.11.2023 um 10:30 legten wir dann ab und segelten bei gutem achterlichen Wind Richtung den Kanaren.
Wind und Orca bedingt wählten wir einen längeren und sehr westlichen Kurs und nach 800Sm erreichten wir in 5 tagen 11hden Hafen von Mogan auf Las Palmas.
